Throughout my darkest days,
God was there to guide my ways
He heard my prayers
and held my hand
He is powerful like the waves that break upon the sand
He is my rock
my true best friend
He will be by my side til the end
He gave me breath
a life to live
to do his work
I call upon his name
In him i trust
whom we shall follow
he looks after us all
even the tiny wee sparrows
He will not leave us
or forsake us
He sent his son to save us
He loves us all more than we know
He shall be with me
Wherever i go
